A step in the wrong direction.
I’ve been using OS X 10.5 (Leopard) since the day it was released and only now did I realize that minimized QuickTime movies no longer continue to play in the Dock (as featured in every previous iteration of OS X). This saddens me.
The “Unity” feature in VMWare Fusion is a web developer’s dream come true.

WTF NS_ERROR_DOM_BAD_URI WTF
Firefox says: “Access to restricted URI denied (NS_ERROR_DOM_BAD_URI)”
ARGH. I’m simply trying to read the XML data returned from a backend script that is running on a different port of the same hostname/domain as the page that posted the form in the first place!
