I’ve been waiting for this app for quite a while! Here, File File connects to your Macs via a server app that runs in the menu bar. While it is running, you can connect to your Mac from anywhere outside your local network. Sexy and useful! Discounted price until February 14! Exclamation marks!!

photo 3 Dec Rogers has recently unveiled “Rogers on Demand Online” (RODO). Surprisingly its both cool and free* to Rogers customers. As as Canadian who has grown tired of waiting around for hulu.com to get off its ass and come to Canada, I’m pretty happy about this. Check it out if you’re on Rogers.
* Free… provided that you don’t exceed your Rogers-enforced monthly bandwidth allotment. ;)

Bassjump is a subwoofer designed to enhance your built in Macbook speakers by providing mid and low frequencies. It is designed to be small and portable. It is also decidedly designed to combat the clutter one finds in other solutions (whereby, they mean the wires and cables of a traditional computer speaker set). As one who loved the simplicity and sound of my original design iMac and iSub solution, this looks like a the next logical progression for a current day setup.
