Reblogging this not only because it has WENDEL in it, but because I actually attended a week-long Notre Dame Hounds hockey camp as a kid! It was completely awesome (thanks Mom & Dad) and I remember getting to meet Russ Courtnall when he pulled up to the campus in his sports car complete with vanity license plate that read “LEAFS 9”.

At the moment, we’re first overall in the league and that’s quite an accomplishment for this team. We’re padding the points right now, which is important because we’re going to have a tough stretch somewhere down the line. We have to make hay while the sun shines.

Are you pumped for the next season yet?
Captain Dion is playing his best hockey as a Maple Leaf right now. He’s stepping up and being the leader we all hoped he would be. This makes me very happy. Playoffs or not, we’ve got an exciting team here in Toronto again!
