This looks very cool. Santa, are you listening? minimalmac: Bassjump is a subwoofer designed to enhance your built in Macbook speakers by providing mid and low frequencies. It is designed to be small and portable. It is also decidedly designed to combat the clutter one finds in other solutions (whereby, they mean the wires and cables of a traditional computer speaker set). As one who loved the simplicity and sound of my original design iMac and iSub solution, this looks like a the next logical progression for a current day setup.

Griffin MyPhones:  Volume-limiting earphones for kids. Pretty good idea, actually. Personally, I cringe any time one of my daughters pops in earbuds and I always have to make sure they don’t have it too loud. Over-protective? Hell yes. Hearing damage is one of those life lessons I’d rather not have them learn about “the hard way”.
